Rome: Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato / Libreria Dello Stato, 1992. Hardcover. The pair in fine shape. 289p., hardbound in 12x8.5 inch decorated boards, accompanied by the maps volume - 18 folded maps in colors, also hardbound. Same dimensions, same decoration, the two volumes complete in a sturdy slipcase: matching boards with a raw linen backstrip. Books and slipcase are without blemish or any soil or any markings. FYI: spine titling of Text states it to be "Volume III" and so it is, but of a larger set devoted to Italian discovery of America. Ministry of Cultural and environmental assets.
