London: Chapman and Hall 1864 626pp, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, hardcover, rebound in plain dark orange library buckram with gilt printed spine CONDITION: GOOD, ex-library with the usual library markings (label at spine foot, "withdrawn" stamp on top edge, library stamp & corner clipped on front free endpaper, card pocket remnant on rear endpaper), frontis partially detached o/w a nice solid copy, good condition NOTES - A very influential early biography of Wolfe - scarce.
