Hardcover has blue cloth-covered boards with gold spine and cover lettering and royal crest on cover. Tissued frontispiece. Top edges gilt. Deckle fore and bottom edges. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with minor fraying at tips. Head of spine has a small vertical tear. Small loss of gilt to words 'of the" on spine. Covers lightly rubbed. Imprinted bookplate on front endpaper. Front free endpaper has a few impressions from erased pencil marks. Pages clean and unmarked. 460 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
