Antique ex-library with hand-numbered and hand-dated bookplate. 347 pp. Illustrated with photographs (frontispiece plus 10 additional). Preface by Mussolini. Contemporary biography, obviously written with Mussolini's approval and involvement. Original published in Italian as "DUX". Sarfatti was born Jewish, converted to Catholicism and was noted as the close companion/lover of Mussolini. Library mark on spine, stamps on corners of plates, some internal foxing, light wear to top of spine. Otherwise a solid copy in good condition. Rare.. First Edition in English. Hard Cover. Good. Illus. by Illustrated. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Antique ex-library.
