Hinge between the free front board and the spine is cracked from the bottom over 2/3. Part of the calf is missing at the heel of the spine and at the head. Corners are grazed and the board under the marbled paper is appearing. Edges of the boards are also grazed in some areas. Evident shelf wear. Front end paper gutter is cracked. Text block in very good conditions, still quite tight with very rare light foxing on scattered pages. Some scarce writing with pencil on the pasted front end paper and on the title page. Tail of the spine was rubbed and part of the calf is missing. Small worm holes at the bottom of the hinges and one more on the backboard.. Cracking almost all along the gutter on page 3 and binding is visible. Text block is in very good conditions, still quite tight with very rare light foxing on scattered pages.
