Note condition: Boards scratched and worn with front corner of board chipped off, other corners worn and chafed. Bottom two inches of outer spine chipped off and spine worn and scuffed. Spine title dulled. Binding is strong. Interior heavily foxed. Name stamp of previous owner on inside board and also name of another owner in ink along with some calligraphic printing of "Book", and the same owner boldly inked his name on the front edge. Cornelis Schrevel [1608-1661] was a physician and scholar and head of the college faculty at Leiden University. His Latin-Greek lexicon was very popular and went through many editions and translations into the 19th century.
