About This Item
London: George Allen & Unwin, 1981. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Original brown-coloured cloth with coloured top edge, gilt titles to backstrip, pp. 463. VG condition, nice and square, pushed at the spine tips, the top edge has a lost a little of its colouring. Dustjacket is creased at the spine tips, rubbed at the upper corners with minor loss of the laminate. Tanned at the flaps and while not clipped, lacks printed price at the front flap. A bit shelf-worn along the edges in places and the rear panel is almost two-tone, i.e. brown and very dark brown which is presumably a production fault. Not Fine by any means but a presentable copy, nonetheless.
