Leipzig: Bernhard Tauchnitz,, 1842-80. An attractive uniformly-bound collection of German copyright printings, comprising Dickens's letters, two of his travel books, and three of his short stories, together with Forster's life of Dickens. Together, twelve volumes, small octavo (155 x 111 mm). Uniformly bound in late 19th-century green quarter calf, spines lettered in gilt, green marbled sides, marbled endpapers. Spines a little sunned, lightly rubbed at extremities. A very good set.
