About This Item
London: David Nutt, 1894. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 3 vols. 8vo. 1894; 95; 96. Grimm Library Nos. 2, 3 & 5. Quarter green cloth over green paper boards with gilt lettered spines. Spine ends rubbed and bumped, with light chipping and spines sunned. Light edge-wear to the boards and corners. Very light water spot to the top edge of the first volume, very light in the upper margins and not to all pages, not bad at all, with small crack in the paper over the rear hinge and bookseller's slip for this title tipped in. Pencil notes to the rear paste-down of volume 2, with bookseller slips tipped-in at the rear paste-down of volume 3. Paper a little yellowed from age but overall a good clean set and the bindings solid. Scarce books in the Grimm Library.
