Text is clean and unmarked. Binding has some dark smudging but is tight and square. Top of text block is darkened with age. DJ has several chips along the spine and dark smudges but is intact. Ads are featured on the inside of the DJ Black and white photos included. Inscription dated 1937 on the top inside of the front free end paper. From the front DJ flap, "Lowell Thomas...accompanied Lawrence on his most daring war escapades in Arabia...Mr. Thomas depicts the young and reticent scholar who had chosen to lose himself in the desert, exploring ruined cities."
