Signed copies of this title are almost always either signed softcover Advance Reader Copies or hardcovers with a signed bookplate affixed to their half-title page. This was signed by Didion in the Books & Co Bookstore on Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side, where she and her husband John Gregory Dunne lived and could frequently be seen taking long walks together.
