Illustrated. Presentation copy from the copy, recipient unknown - possibly William Fairchild as this is from his library. "I have a feeling you will write a much better play than this. Frederick Lonsdale." Half of inscription is a littles damp-stained. Pages slightly rippled but script is readable.
