About This Item
London: Stanley Paul, 1988. Hardcover. Near Fine/near fine. The Cruiser Emden was probably the most effective of German efforts to disrupt its enemies in the Indian and Pacific Oceans during the First World War. The author has, from German, French and English sources, pieced together the exploits of the ship and its crew from its sinking of 19 merchant ships and destroying two Allied warships, to its own sinking by an Australian cruiser, until the Emden's survivors' escape through Asia to Constantinople where they were reunited with their German comrades. Near Fine Hardback in a Near Fine Dust Jacket. 321 pages with maps, some black and white plates and a bibliography. Weight: 0.8 kg Post free within Malaysia Apart from light tanning on the dust jacket and the book's pages, it looks new
