Large volume 11-1/2" x 15" x 1" Exceptional book with numerous photos of 'modern' design (c. 1920), most BW, some in color: interiors, salons, bedrooms, bars, living areas, desks, chairs, light fixtures, stained glass, carpets, textiles, glass, jewelry, book binding, silver tableware, china. Recueil de Documents parus dans la revue Art et Decoration publies avec une introduction de Leon Deshairs. While intact, some pgs are loose, some with folds or small tears, evidence of handling and age. Bulk of book is printed on heavy quality paper, photos still crisp and clear on white paper. No dust jacket. A large volume, light hardover is discolored and scratched, backstrip completely missing.
