About This Item
New York: Harper Brothers, 1933 Book was purchased from her nephew and was really surprised at 2 inscriptions, one long one on the first title page 7 lines in her handwriting, and a second inscription on the Main title page "Greetings and best wishes, Caroline Miller". 9th printing, with red cloth covers, soiled, weak hinges, browning pages, front end page is chipping, and the first title page has minor chipping to the edge approaching the inscription(it needs to be removed to protect the inscription by the next owner).book has corner wear and lettering on the front cover almost gone, spine can't be read, small puncture back cover. Inscriptions in blue fountain ink and still very attractive... Inscribed By the Author. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. A copy by the Franklin Library comes with this one, and another Gap Filler in case you need to replace a page or 2. It's the 2 signatures that give value to the book.
