VG* Penguin books of this period were issued with additional paper jackets. This jacket is missing. ND* Contents condition: PRIVATE COPY NOT EX-LIBRARY. Clean & tight with sewn binding. No inscriptions. Slight damp distortion to pages throughout. Considerable age darkening throughout especially to page margins and edges. Minor damp staining to lower corners at rear. ACC* Illustrations: A few small b/w vignettes between chapters. Onne page b/w line/drawn maps.
