Original Navy blue cloth elaborately decorated in gilt on front cover with four initial "N" for Napoleon midst a dense pattern of the "bees" associated with him, eagle and crown centered on front cover, gilt title and author's name on spine, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed. Very good condition, gilt bright, owner's private bookplate and name on front endpapers. 2 portrait plates of Napoleon's son, The Duke of Reichstadt, Napoleon II. Play about him, period from 1830 - 1832. ; 2 portraits; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 262 pages .
