Near-contemporary calf, edges sprinkled in red. Some light spotting. Rubbed, particularly to spine, front joint cracking at foot. Ownership inscription of Mrs James Brown to pastedown, title list to flyleaf in same hand. A collection of five plays, each of which was issued separately, and also sold as part of Bell’s British Theatre. Aaron Hill’s Alzira is based upon Alzire by Voltaire.
