Random House, January 1941. First Edition. Cloth . Very Good/Good. Octavo. In edgeworn, chipped & torn DJ with several tears. Most noticable of the jacket tears: a three inch spidery tear of about 3-inches down the front flap fold and another about 2-inches from top of spine feeding into a half inch chip. Darkening along jacket spine and folds front and rear. Rose red topstain. Tanning to end pages front and back. Cobalt blue cloth covered boards with gold lettering with gold frames in red fields along spine and on front panel. Sound binding. 182 pages.
