About This Item
Kristin Lavransdatter is a trilogy of historical novels written by the Danish/Norwegian writer Sigrid Undset. They were first published in 1920, 1921 and 1922; Undset won the Nobel prize in 1928.
This is a boxed, three-volume set published in 1946. The three novels are Kransen (The Wreath), Husfrue (The Wife), and Korset (The Cross). They tell the story of the life of a woman living in the Middle Ages and are lauded for their historical and ethnological accuracy.
Each book is about 280 pages, plus notes. Brown cloth with gold lettering on the covers and spine. The paper is fine, cream. There is no adornment, other than the red printing on the title page of each book.
There is a little bit of wear to the box. There is minor fading to the spine of the books. Inside, the three books are in mint condition. Pristine.
