Card covers tied with a ribbon, the covers with a curved pointed upper edge, like a stained-glass window. The front has the title Kriss Kringle's Greeting with a chromolithographed illustration of Kriss Kringle in a white, fur-edged, hooded robe, holding a small Christmas tree and with a basket of toys slung over his back. The back has the greetings "Merry Christmas Happy New Year" with a chromolithographed illustration of holly. Both illustrations are on a gilt background. Covers are edged with a gilt and brown fringe. The two Christmas carols with music are from German songs, with words by "C. M.": Bethlehem's Star and Christmas Night. Very scarce. In Very Good- Condition: the ribbon holding the covers and pages together is separated; cover is lightly soiled and creased; interior is clean and bright.
