Appears unread. 317 pages with black and white photographs. Biography of baseball player Jerry Witte, who played professional baseball for 15 years (1937-1952), mostly in the Minor Leagues, with a "cup of coffee" in the Major Leagues for the St. Louis Browns. He played his last three years with the Houston Buffs. Co-author Bill McCurdy grew up near Buff Stadium and was a big fan of the team and Jerry Witte. .
