Philadelphia: Johnson & Warner, 1808. First Thus. 24mo (14cm.); publisher's drab paper-covered boards, all edges speckled; vi,[7]-87pp.; woodcut frontispiece. Chipping with shallow loss along extremities, spine paper partly perished, front hinge rather weak but holding; overall Good to Very Good, internally clean and sound. A tale of a dog separated from his master, first published in 1798. This edition one of the earliest works printed by Lydia Bailey (1779-1869), who first began managing her late husband's printshop in the same year 1808.
