(second issue by seven line statement and price of $1.50 on rear wrapper as well as the lack of an imprint for Villiers on page 100). Wrappers lightly worn with some light shelf-wear to the extremities present. Book is free of ownership marks. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. In this 1961 collection of Ginsberg's poetry, Kaddish is published for the first time. His second most famous poem after Howl and regarded as one of his finest, Kaddish was Ginsberg's attempt to mourn his mother, Naomi, but also reflects his sense of loss at his estrangement from his born religion.
