Hong Kong: Flagstaff House , 1984. The Flagstaff House Museum specialises in the collection, study and display of tea ware, including many samples of the Yixing teapot, from the Jiangsu of China, as well as the world's oldest known extant teapot. It opened 1984 based on Dr. Lo Kwee-seong collection. Part 1 contains 142 photo plates 85 in colour rest in b/w, text is in English and Chinese with chronological list at rear. Part 2 contains 271 photo plates many with additional close up of artists marks, 90 in colour rest in b/w, text is in English and Chinese with chronological list at rear. CONDITION illus covers, Part 1 has 180 pages. Nice crisp copy with light shelf wear, crease to spine, name inside front. article on tea ware in NZ slipped in at rear. Part 2 has 209 pages, nice crisp copy, faded top edge with shoet tear to cover at spine head esle light sheld wear Overweight . First Edition. Soft Cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
