A couple of light stains to front board, light foxing to page edges, clean text throughout. Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (Sir Philip Brocklehurst, Swythamley Park, Macclesfield. Best known as a member of Shackleton's 1907 Nimrod expedition to Antarctica). Scarce.
