With over 200 reproductions of his art, of which over half are published for the first time. From the blurb "This book explores Tolkien's art at length, from his childhood paintings and drawings to his final sketches. At its heart are his illustrations for his books, especially his tales of Middle-Earth. Also examined are the pictures Tolkien made for his children (notably in his 'Father Christmas' letters and for the story of Mr. Bliss), his expressive calligraphy, his love of decoration, and his contributions to the typography and design of his books." Your payment must be received and cleared prior to shipment. Typically your books will ship within one business day after receipt of payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel future orders from any non-paying buyers. Buyers specifying a Missouri shipping address will be charged a 5.95% sales tax, that will be added to their book purchase. Full refund will be furnished if listing is inaccurate or shipment is damaged. Refunds for full purchase price, less shipping and insurance, for any reason. Returns need to be authorized prior to their return shipment within 14 days of your receipt. Books must be returned in the same condition as received, return shipments must be fully insured.
