Philadelphia, (PA): Mounier and Lallou, 1833. Illustrated advertisment and receipt. Printed broadside, 8 1/8 x 4 1/2 inches, employing several styles and sizes of type, completed in manuscript for a purchase of puffs and Curls ($16 total) and signed "Rcd. Payment / J.P. Mounier & Lallou." Notice is given that wigs can be provided for $10 and that the firm sells, Curls, Puffs, Scalps, Braids, Frisetts, &c., at the lowest price, wholesale and retail." The business is listed in the Philadelphia directory (1835-1836), p. 101 and was still at the same address, with a different principal. We were unable to find material related to this firm on OCLC. Short tear in upper edge, else very good. Folded and docketed on verso. (#5941).
