Large folio, original cloth, with leather spine and corners, gilt title on top cover, 61 color plate maps. Hinges are a little weak, spine rubbed and worn, extremities also worn, title marking on cover faded, corners a little bumped, lacks list of maps, but all maps are present, map of Vermont and other New England states loose, tear at bottom of MA & CT map, staining affects right and bottom margins of some maps, generally not a significant impact on image. This atlas contains 61 color plate maps, many are double page, and 27 relate to the United States. The map of the U.S. is double page, and this is the first year the U.S. map is not designated as a military map. Includes large map of NYC. Extra postage required. Phillips 4346.
