Godalming: the Pendomer Press, 1978.. 4to. 136 pp. Quarter navy blue morocco with Ingres paper covered boards. Gilt spine titling and gilt decoration on upper cover after Nash drawing. Top edge gilt. Marbled endpapers. 122 illustrations throughout text and 4 colour plates. Book and portfolio of wood engravings housed in a marbled paper covered slip case. . Number 139 of 150 copies designed and signed by the author and including a separate portfolio of 6 loose wood engravings by John Nash. The six wood engravings by John Nash, in the separate portfolio, were printed from the original wood blocks on J. Green mould-made paper by Will Carter at the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge. Each of the wood engravings is numbered and bears the blindstamp of the Trustees of the John Nash estate.
