London: How and Parsons A Tale of the Land and the Ocean.
Not dated, but Preface is dated 1841, illustrated with 15 full page engravings by Robert Cruickshank and numerous vignettes.
Engravings are on poor quality paper (different from text) and are darkend, spotted, foxed and with some evidence of water staining (not affecting image).
Clean and tightly bound in contemporary mauve cloth with gilt leather title to spine and gilt leather decoration to front board. Book Plate.
Photos available of this scarce work in very nice condition.
