London: Macmillan and Co, 1895 Book. Illus. by Henry M Brock. Good. Hardcover. xl, [ii], 400, [2] pages, the frontispiece and all illustrations are included in the pagination. The frontispiece duplicates the illustration to page 336. In the original decorative cloth binding, blue boards with gilt decoration. There is a monogram as part of the design to the lower central part of the front board of Albert Angus Turbayne. The spine is dulled and lightly faded. The front board has many old fly spots and the gilt on the prow of the boat is a little rubbed. Rear board also fly spotted and some marks. The end papers are of yellow peacocks on lightly browned paper. The tissue interleaving between the frontispiece and title page has browned and this has caused some to the adjoining pages. Pages are all edges gilt.
