Dark blue cloth boards with silver particulars to spine. Pictorial dust jacket protected in mylar. Both black and white photography and illustrations throughout. Organized into 11 chapters, some of which are, but are not limited to: The Workshop (Shigoto-Ba); Marking Tools (Sumitsuke-Dogu); Sharpening Stones (Toishi); Sharpening (Togi); Hammers (Tsuchi); Gimlets (Kiri); Knives and Other Tools (Kogatana and Kodogu); and more. No previous owners' names or other markings. Pages bright and clean. 9 1/2 x 12 1/4 inches.
