Octavo, 190pp. Blue cloth, title stamped in silver. Stated "first edition" on copyright page. Book appears unread, light sun exposure to top edge of cloth, a near fine example. In the publisher's dust jacket, price-clipped, wear to outer hinge, an exceptionally bright example. This copy is signed on the front free endpaper by R. Buckminster Fuller. R. Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) was an American architect, author, systems theorist and futurist. He published over 30 books during his lifetime, including this work. He is best remembered in popular culture for his geodesic dome designs and for popularizing terms like "Spaceship Earth.
