Dublin: Maunsel & Co., Ltd., 1915. The first poetry collection by Stephens (1880-1950). First published in 1909 and dedicated to his mentor. A.E. This is a Near Fine copy of the Fourth Edition. In a year Stephens would be a witness and reporter to the Easter Dublin Rebellion. Tan paper-covered boards with a linen spine; maroon titling on the front cover. Clean text; 55 pages. Previous-owner signature on the FFEP. Tiny rub to corners and a slight splay; but really a superior copy. In an archival plastic protector.. Fourth Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
