London: Jonathan Cape, 1979. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 8" by 5". None. A first edition of the hugely popular Brian Freemantle's Charlie Muffin series. The far East beckons the hapless hero Charlie Muffin as the floating 'University of Freedom' is set alight with the American and British intelligence seemingly involved. Other works by this author include 'Clap Hands', 'Here Comes Charlie' and 'The November Man'. In a cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper in brodart wraps. Externally, generally smart with only minor shelfwear as tail of spine bumped and rubbing to tail edges of boards. Dustwrapper is sound with loss to front board corner and marks on spine and front board. Ink stamp on front free end-paper. Internally, firmly bound with pages bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
