Head and tail of spine and corners bumped and rubbed; light shelfwear to lower edges of boards. Binding lightly shaken. Chipping to head and tail of jacket spine and top and bottom jacket folds (neatly reinforced with tape on verso). Small bookseller's stamp front pastedown, else internally clean. very good A collection of myths, legends and ghost stories with illustrations by Arthur Rackham throughout. Reprints the first edition to contain colour illustrations. Includes 24 colour illustrations tipped onto special paper with captioned tissue guards, 12 full paged tinted illustrations, and many more in-text illustrations all by Rackham. Uncommon in the dust jacket. Issued without the preparatory information (4 pages) included in the first printing of the colour-illustrated edition. 1920
