Illustrated with Photographs, Sketches and Old Prints. Hardcover, 155 pp. In acceptable condition/ NO dust jacket. Dark green cloth covered boards with gold lettering on front and spine. Light bumping and scuffing to edges of covers and light overall scuffing soiling. Binding tight. Previous owner's initials in ink on front paste down and name and address in pencil on half-title page. Moderate to heavy age spotting to first and last few pages. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked with occasional light to moderate spotting. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. A good reading copy. Black and white illustrations and photo reproductions throughout [From copyright page] This story of Independence Square Neighborhood was written by Carroll Frey. Most of the sketches are from the Old Philadelphia Collection by Frank H. Taylor, and the majority of the photographs are by Philip B. Wallace, who specializes on State House Row.
