Very Good. 324 pp; containing facts relating to the discovery and settlement of the mountains, Indian history and traditions, a minute and authenic account of the destruction of the Willey family, geology and temperature of the mountains, together with numerous anecdotes illustrating life in the back woods; sevewral very detailed, full-page etchings; with table of statistics of mountains; and 5 pages of advertisements; label of former owner on front paste-down, ink stamp of his name on ffep 1st blank page, 1st chapter; binding tight; hinges intact; some wear and scuffing to boards; some moisture staining to last 14 pages as well as advertisements.
