Gene Palm is a pseudonym for Luigi Palmisano, musician, artist, philosopher and lawyer, who was born in Naples,Italy. Mr. Palmisano entered the world without forearms or hands, a birth defect in a time without acceptance, support or useful prosthetic devices. Triumphant in spirit he overcame his dire handicap and became a successful concert pianist, playing piano with his elbows. It was on a Concert Tour that he came to the United States. He overcame the illusion that life was tragic and he found reality through his spirit.
