Ex-library book with usual stamps, stickers, etc. Binding is solid and interior is clean of highlighting, marking or marginalia. 514 pages, lavishly illustrated with often many photos and prints per page, depicting costuming (drawings & photos of stage sets with players,) furniture, tapestries, vases, religious icons, along with many portraits, paintings, interiors of the time. Text is in German. Previously owned by private library and very well cared for. Dust jacket is adhered to boards with clear mylar sheeting.

With wide blank margin, engraved frame and title. Two very small ink marks on title, otherwise in tight, bright and clean condition with strong plate inprint. A delightful print, empahsising the more rural aspect of this area.
