Small folio; original green cloth with gilt titles and fish device to upper board in each case; endpaper maps in first volume; pp. (xvi) + 356 + 19, (x) + [357-682] + 14; line drawings, tables and photographs in text; 104 plates, incl. some in full colour. Ex-library copies with "Discarded" ink stamps to upper cover in each case; penned codes, ink stamps and pockets to endpapers; slightest rippling to bottom edges; light wear to cloth. Good condition. .
