About This Item
New York:Charles Scribner's Sons, 1929. First Edition. hard cover. Very Good/Good. New York:Charles Scribner's Sons. 1929. 311pp. 1st edition of authors first novel, set in Greenwich Village in the 1920's. The book is in very good condition. Save for a date someone has penned to the upper left corner of the ffep, there are no other previous owners marks or signatures. There is a bit of offset to the end pages from the dust jacket flaps and a few touches of foxing to the first couple of pages, but otherwise the pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket, still in one piece, has done its job well and is in good condition. Overall moderate soiling and shelfwear to edges with several chips and small tears.
