Short stories include: The Well of Pen-Morfa & The Heart of John Middleton by Elizabeth Gaskell, The Death of a Goblin by Henry Morley, A Metaphysical Mystery by James Hannay, A Guild Clerk's Story by W. Moy Thomas, My Mahogany Friend by Mary Louisa Boyle & Charles Dickens. Mid-C19th green-black leather over green mottled boards; raised bands, gilt framing and lettering on spine. Leather scraped and starting to split on lower end of upper hinge, corners rubbed, good. Spine title reads: "C. Dickens. Household Words, 1850, 2". Anonymous contributions identified in Lohrli.
