Burgundy leather slip on the spine as well as gilt lettering/designs. Four slightly raised bands. Marbled end-papers. Old and New Testament each have a frontispiece (labelled as such). Illustrated with engravings. Includes Apocrypha at the end of the Old Testament. Additional material in the front and back of the Bible. "Account of the Authorized Version of the Scriptures," "Divine Authority of the Scriptures," "A Chronology of the Holy Bible," "Concordance to the Old and New Testaments," "Barr's Complete Index and Concise Dictionary of the Holy Bible" (52 pages). Dual columns. Irregular pagination. 797pp. (Old Testament), 120pp. (Apocrypha), 253pp. (New Testament). Close to 1,250 pages. Covers have some wearing, spots of staining and chipping. Pages are foxed/browned with some portions containing moisture marks. Previous owner's name written on flyleaf. Only writing on first and last page of text body, the rest is free from writing. A beautifully preserved old Bible. Full refund if not satisfied.
