Hardback, printed titling to spine and upper board. 19 × 12.5cm, 103pp. Published as part of the Hogarth Press's Living Poets series, this issue contains early work by W H Auden, Julian Bell (Vanessa Bell's son, Virginia Woolf's nephew, killed in the Spanish Civil War in 1937), C Day Lewis, Richard Eberhart, William Empson, John Lehmann, William Plomer, Stephen Spender, and A S J Tessimond. Condition: The binding is heavily sunned to the spine with one or two splash marks, and some fading to the boards' edges. The contents however are bright and clean with secure binding.
