Near fine, Dark brown leather, decorated with 22kt gold, spine in five compartments separated by raised bands, gilt lettering or decoration in each compartment, intricate gilt decoration on both covers, gilt page edges, coral moire silk endpapers, printed on archival paper, silk ribbon marker bound in, Smythe sewn, and with concealed muslin joints. Illustrated with color drawings by T. M. Cleland
