GILT TITLES ON THE FRONT BOARD AND SPINE ( VERY FADED ON THE SPINE). .RED CLOTH COVERS LIGHTLY WORN ON EDGES BUT FADED ON THE SPINE. SMALL INDENT ON TOP EDGE OF BOARD WITH SMALL DARK MARKS. THIN BLUE LINE RUNNING DOWN PART OF FRONT COVER, OTHERWISE TIDY. TOP OF BLOCK DUST AND TOP EDGE OF PAGES STAINED. SOME PAGES ROUGH CUT, PREVIOUS OWNERS NAME ON FRONT END PAPER. THE TITLE PAGE HAS BROWNED WITH AGE, OUTER EDGES OF PAGES BROWNED, OTHERWISE THE TEXT AND ILLUSTRATION ARE TIDY FOR AGE..THE PLATE SUPPOSED TO BE OPPOSITE PAGE 62 IS ACTUALLY OPPOSITE PAGE 60. .
