London: MacMillan and Co., Limited 1935, 2nd printing. (Hardcover) 428pp. Very good plus, no dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. Illustrations, glossary, index, folding map. The rear inner hinge is starting to crack, the foldout map has a small closed tear where it is attached to the endpaper. "The area described is the Outer and Inner Hebrides and the western mainland of the Highlands of Scotland. This western mainland area of which I have written is bounded roughly by a line joining the heads of the long sea lochs" - from the Preface. Contributors include W.J. Watson. Illustrations by D.Y.
