Book divisions: Foreword by Alister Mackintosh, Thank You, Preface to the Second Edition, Preface to the Third Edition by Author, Introduction, Part One - The Land, Part Two - The Stations. 237 pp. plus: Appendix - 27 pp., Bibliography, Index, Runs Schedule 1889 - 1946. 279 pp. in toto. Book has as-new gilt text on spine only, illustrated ep, illustrated with b/w photographs. Bottom corners show bit of wear and spine ends are slightly scuffed, ow, book is fine.
